21112K LOWKEY
Seeing that not many people at my high school were interested in robotics, I set out to start my own VEX team to compete in the "Starstruck" competition. Designed, built, and coded by myself with some guidance from my older brother and the internet (of course), the robot featured a catapult like arm that would propel the star game piece over the fence. However, the it was difficult to get the star on the arm, and even then the star didn't always go over the fence. So instead, the primary strategy was to push the stars under the fence to the other side. I went three competition with this robot and I was able to claim second place in one of them. The next year, more interest started to grow at my high school, I decided to start a VEX new school team, 82000A Robogators.
